It houses, Golden Temple an iconic Gurudwara with dome covered in gold, which every year is visited by Sikh as well as Hindu followers in huge numbers. AMRITSAR- The most sacred city of the Sikhs is an important tourist destination of Punjab. The word Amritsar means the Pool of Nectar, and is named after the sacred pool in the Golden Temple, one of the holiest Sikh shrines. The city was founded by the fourth Guru of Sikhs, Guru Ramdas.

DAY 1: DELHI - AMRITSAR

By car/train drive to Golden City-Amritsar. Later transfer to hotel. In the evening Darshan at Gurudwara.

THE GOLDEN TEMPLE- located in the heart of the city, where Sikhs from all over the world come to pay their devotions to Guru Granth Sahib and take a dip in the Amrit Saras Kund (Pool of Immortality) for spiritual purification is the major landmark here.

DAY 2: AMRITSAR

After breakfast, visit

THE GOLDEN TEMPLE- located in the heart of the city, where Sikhs from all over the world come to pay their devotions to Guru Granth Sahib and take a dip in the Amrit Saras Kund (Pool of Immortality) for spiritual purification is the major landmark here.

THE JALLIANWALA BAGH- historical monument that tells the sad story of mass killing during the independence movement in India. Here lies the memorial of the martyrs of the 1919 massacre by British General Dyer. 

WAGAH BORDER- Located 28 kilometers from the Amritsar main town on the Indo-Pakistan border. The most fascinating thing here is to see the change of guards ceremony and the Flag Hoisting and lowering activities, which are done with great skills by the Border Security Forces (BSF) of both the Countries. 

Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 3: AMRITSAR - DELHI

Day free for leisure and later, drive back to Delhi to catch your flights towards onward destination.
