KHANDALA- It is one of the important hill stations in the state of Maharashtra and is the pride of the Sahyadri Mountains. Khandala is endowed with abundant natural beauty, it is also provides a popular gateway from the hustle and bustle of cities of Mumbai and Pune. The picturesque green surroundings of this pretty hill station attract the travelers towards it.

LONAVALA- A popular hill station at an altitude of 2,047 ft above sea level, Lonavala is a romantic escape from the chaotic noise of city life. Salubrious climate, magnificent exquisiteness, historical forts, ancient caves and beautiful lakes make it the most sought after destination in India. Lonavala is also notable all over India for Chikki (the hard candy sweet). Enveloped by Sahayadri hills, it is the perfect destination for trekking and mountaineering.

PANCHGANI- The 'Land of Five Hills', or Panchgani, is a distinguished hill station in Maharashtra. Located far away from the bustling city of Mumbai, Panchgani promises its visitors a trip they could cherish for life. It was discovered by the British as an ideal summer resort. The climate here remains stable and pleasant throughout the year and the place pulsates with greenery and captivating scenic beauty and the environment is pristine and uncontaminated.

MAHABALESHWAR- The beautiful hills station of Mahabaleshwar is snuggled in the sloppy mountain ranges of the western ghats of Maharashtra. This hill station is a respite from the hustle and bustle of the crowded cities offering a clean, calm and refreshing environment. Mahabaleshwar was discovered by the Britishers, who were always in search of places that provided them relief from the heat of the plains. Thus, the city still retains some of the old world charm.

ALIBAUG- It is a coastal town in the Konkan region well known for its sandy beaches, clean water and fresh, unpolluted, rejuvenating air. Apart from the beaches, there are many historical and intricate temples in this region which are also interesting for tourists here. A walk amidst dense, refreshing coconut groves could also be very enchanting and relaxing if you are looking for some solidarity.

DAY 1: MUMBAI - KHANDALA - LONAVALA

Today start your trip to the famous hill station Lonavala, enroute stopover at Khandala.

RAJMACHI FORT- Midway between Lonavala and Khandala is a fort by the name of Rajmachi Fort, a prominent landmark that watches over some of the most breathtakingly beautiful and wide sceneries of the region. Atop the Western Ghats, the complex comprises two forts that are individually located at the Shrivardhan and Manaranjan Peaks.

LOHAGAD FORT- It is a popular historic structure perched over the top of an impressive hill near Malavali. The place is quite popular among trekkers who come here for one day tryst with nature and history. Built in the 18th century, it makes for an ideal destination for trekking and nature lovers, especially from Pune and Mumbai. The trek to the fort is an easy one and perfect for the first timers. The place is flanked by nature at its best, lush green grassland, panoramic views and cool mountain air.

After lunch continues you drive to Lonavala. Transfer to hotel. Evening free for leisure.

DAY 2: LONAVALA

After breakfast, start your sightseeing of Lonavala viewing

AMRUTNJAN POINT- Located at the starting of Khandala Ghatsa, the Amrutanjan Point is an excellent view point from where one can get a magnificent aerial view of the town Khopoli as well as the Duke's Nose. This is an enjoyable picnic spot owing to its pleasant weather, during most of the year and the beautiful surroundings.

TIGER POINT- At 650 meter height, Tiger Point, which is also called as Tiger's Leap, offers spectacular views of forests, lush greenery, waterfalls and lakes around. Since it resembles a leaping tiger's shape, the place is called thus. The sunrise and sunset views from here are mesmerizing. The place, in short, is a nature lovers ultimate dream destination.

KARLA CAVES- Nature and the artistic excellence in man fight a friendly battle here to reign supreme. Though nature is the ultimate winner, the architectural brilliance of man is not to be underrated. Karla Caves is a perfect example of the artisanship of man as early as 80 BC. Karla Caves are an impressive representation of architectural brilliance. 

BHAJA CAVES- These Caves are amongst the most ancient Buddhist centers in this part of the world. They are over 2200 years old. The 22 rock-cut caves at the hill top represent the astonishing architectural skills possessed by the craftsmen of the past. 

KOREGAD FORT- The fort is an individual fort in a hillock which is not connected to other hills in Lonavala Region. About one hour trekking expedition is required to reach the top. This hillock is credited with few ponds and magnificent picturesque landscapes. This fort stands alone with grandiose solitude.

DAY 3: LONAVALA - PANCHGANI

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the hill station of Panchgani. Transfer to hotel. After lunch visit

TABLE LAND- This is flatland adorned with a carpet of grass spread over the vast area of around 100 acres. Early winters are a good season to visit Table Land since the monsoon grass is still there and the land is not slippery, the way it is in rainy season.

KAAS PLATEAU- One of the UNESCO World Heritage sites of India, known for its natural beauty and flora, Kaas Plateau is a magical place with landscapes with lakes, flowers and butterflies all around.

SYDNEY POINT- This is a small spot at the top of high land, right at the start of Panchgani when you enter from Wai-side.

DAY 4: PANCHGANI - MAHABALESHWAR

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to the hill station of Mahabaleshwar. Transfer to hotel. After lunch visit

VENNA LAKE- The lake is the most popular among the tourist places in Mahabaleshwar, is a bustling tourist spot. The lake is surrounded by trees on all side, and offers boat riding option as well. Its open till late in the evening so that you can soak in the breathtaking lush greenery during the day, and lounge by the lake side towards the evening.

PRATAPGAD FORT- Placed strategically on a hill-top, the fort was originally built by Maratha rulers in 1665. Having seen one of the fiercest battles in the history the battle of Pratapgad, the fort is in ruins. But its surrounding beauty and heritage value lures people till date.

LINGAMALA FALLS- The falls are located amidst natural beauty, You have to walk through the forest and follow a trudged trail to reach it. The best time to visit Lingam Falls is between July and December. During these months, Lingamala Falls become the most visited spot among the best places to visit in Mahabaleshwar.

ARTHUR'S SEAT- Or Suicide point is also known as the Queen of all points. It offers the most mesmerizing and fascinating view of the dense valleys of Brahma-Arayana and the Savitri river. The point is a huge table that stands on a natural pillar. On the way up, one can also see window point and Tiger's spring.

ELEPHANTS HEAD POINT- as the name suggest, is a piece of mountain which uncannily resembles the shape of an elephant's head. It is also popular as the needle point. Its an ideal spot for picnic in fresh air, with abundant sun and scenic beauty surrounding the hill-top. It is a cool and calm place with amazing views from the top.

LORD MAHABALESHWAR TEMPLE- It situated in old city, is a very old temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It was built by the Chanda Rao More dynasty in the 16th century. The sanctum is a huge draw to people due to its huge and divine Shivalinga and the holy pond.

DAY 5: MAHABALESHWAR - ALIBAUG

After breakfast, drive to the city of beaches Alibaug. Transfer to hotel. After lunch visit

KOLABA FORT- Built by Shivaji Maharaj, the fort is situated at a distance of 2 km from the seashore, in the sea. The fort could only be visited during low tides. The fort features sweet water well and numerous temples. The fort is said to be about 300 years old. On the entrance arch, visitors can also find carvings of peacocks, elephants and tigers. There also are shrines of Padmavathi, Mahishasura, Fort Deity and other Gods. In 1759, a Ganesh Temple was also built in front of the sweet water well.

ALIBAUG BEACH- Alibaug Beach is a popular and major beach of the town. The sand of the beach here is black in color. The beach hustles and bustles right from morning to evening. The beach is one of the major attractions in the region.

KHANDERI FORT AND UNDHERI FORT- They are both island forts with access to them from the Thai beach, separated by a distance of 300 mtrs. One needs to take permission from the Bombay port trust to take a boat to reach the fort .

DAY 6: ALIBAUG - MUMBAI

After breakfast, later travel back to Mumbai to catch your flight/train towards onward destination.
