KOCHI (COCHIN) - Kochi is the commercial capital and the most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Kochi along with its mainland part, Ernakulum is also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. With one of the finest natural harbors in the world, Kochi is the most modern city of Kerala where the best shopping markets are located. 

MUNNAR- Munnar amidst beautiful landscapes often referred as the Kashmir of South India is more essentially a tea town. Munnar gets its name from the fact that this is the place where the 3 mountain streams join together and they are Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. It is a commercial centre for tea and it has some of the highest grown tea estates in the world. It also takes the credit of having the world's best tea estates. 

KODAIKANAL- The charming hill station of Kodaikanal lies amid sylvan beauty in the southern part of the upper Palani Hills near Madurai in the state of Tamil Nadu. Perched at a height of about 2,133 meters, Kodaikanal - with its rocks, woods, lovely lake and refreshing environs - is an ideal hill resort for tourist and nature lovers.

COONOOR- Coonoor situated at an altitude of 4927 meters id the second largest hill station in Nilgiri region after Ooty. It is located about 19 km to the south of Ooty. It is famous for lush green views of Nilgiri hills with an extensive variety of wildflowers and birds it is home to. It also abounds in sprawling vegetation, tea bushes, coffee plantation and a profusion of sunflowers, marigolds and rhododendrons, mountains and lovely waterfalls.

OOTY- Ooty, the capital of Nilgiris district and the Queen of hill stations nestled in the beautiful Nilgiris Mountains is the land of picturesque picnic spots. It was a popular summer gateway of Britishers during the colonial days due to its high altitude (2240 meters above sea level). The travelers are greeted by the dense forest, sprawling grasslands, lofty mountains and numerous tea gardens on most of the routes. And shop for souvenirs at the popular local markets.

WAYANAD- Wayanad, the green paradise is nestled among the mountains of the Western Ghats, forming the border world of the greener part of Kerala. Clean and pristine, enchanting and hypnotizing, this land is filled with history and culture. Located at a distance of 76 km. from the sea shores of Kozhikode, this verdant hill station is full of plantations, forests and wildlife.

COORG- Coorg is very beautiful and enchanting hill station in Karnataka in South India. It is located at 1100 m above the sea level Coorg presents picturesque beauty studded with traditional dark tiled cottages and scintillating flowers. It looks like a mini paradise. Coorg offers great opportunities for the adventure loving people for trekking and rock climbing.

BENGALURU- Bengaluru, the Garden City of India is also the capital of Karnataka. The city ranks as one of the fastest growing cities in Asia. Its pleasant climate, friendly people and its highly educated population have made this Silicon Valley of India. Almost all computer related multinationals are setting up their Indian head office at Bengaluru. This garden city of India has many gardens and boulevards. DAY 1: KOCHI - MUNNAR

In the morning, start driving towards the beautiful hill station of Munnar. In the evening explore the scenic beauty of the place. You can visit the tea gardens forming a green heaven with lush hills.

DAY 2: MUNNAR

After breakfast, embark on a sightseeing tour in and around Munnar.

TEA PLANTATIONS- A vast expanse of tea plantations, winding roads, passionate climate and royal gardens make this hill station, Munnar, the Darjeeling of the south.

ATUKKAD WATERFALLS- Located on the way to Pallivasal amidst dense vegetation; the Atukkad Waterfalls is one of the major tourist attractions in Munnar. The water is cold and is also known as a great trekking hotspot in Munnar.

ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK- The protected forest is located at an average elevation of 2000 meters above sea level and is home to several endemic and rare species of flora, fauna, reptiles and avifauna totaling at a whopping 750 species. The Eravikulam National Park is a home to rare and endangered species like Tiger, Leopard, Nilgiri Tahr, Gaur, Indian Muntjac and Sambar Deer, Golden Jackal, Jungle Cat, Wild dog and Dhole.

DAY 3: MUNNAR - KODAIKANAL

Today drive to a charming hill station of Kodaikanal. Transfer to hotel. In the evening visit

KODAI LAKE- Kodai Lake that lays in the heart of Kodaikanal, is a star shaped man made lake that is draped on an area of 60 acres. Boating, horse riding, cycling and angling are a few of the adventure activities tourists can appease themselves with, near the lake.

BRYANT PARK- Bryant Park is a wonderfully maintained garden situated towards the South-East corner of Kodai Lake. Along with Kodai Lake, this is one among the top Kodaikanal tourist places.

DAY 4: KODAIKANAL

After breakfast visit this beautiful hill station

COAKERS WALK- Coakers walk is an one kilometer long built on the mountain. It was constructed in 1872, by Lt Coaker. The outlook of the path defines the beauty of the nature I.e Mountains, valleys, cities etc. Telescope house is must watch of the coakers walk. People are allowed to ride bicycles.

PILLAR ROCKS- The famous Pillars Rocks of Kodaikanal are located around 8 km from the lake and are an exquisite picnic spot. Constituting of a beautiful mini garden, the place is so named as it has three vertically positioned boulders reaching up to a height of 400 feet.

BEAR SHOLA FALLS- Bear Shola Falls that lies in close proximity to Kodaikanal is an exemplary picnic spot. Earlier, many bears used to drink water from this fall, hence the name Bear Shola Falls.

GUNA CAVE- Guna Cave is wonderful tourist spot in Kodaikanal on Moir Point road. The cave is formed between two large Pillar Rocks. This large, dark and ancient cave is also called as Devil's Kitchen.

DAY 5: KODAIKANAL - COONOOR 

Today drive to the beautiful hill station Coonoor. Transfer to hotel. Enjoy the remaining day at leisure.

DAY 6: COONOOR - OOTY

After breakfast at hotel, visit Coonoor. 

SIM'S PARK- Bounded by the breathtaking contours of land over a hundred years, this amazing park was developed. The park, spread over 12 hectares, was developed by Mr. J.D. Sims and Major Murray in the year 1874. The park contains naturally occurring trees, creepers, shrubs besides many unusual plant species. 

DOLPHIN NOSE VIEWPOINT- A huge rock, the Dolphin's Nose resembles a dolphin's nose and is located at 1000 feet above sea level. The road to this popular viewpoint goes through hairpin turns and breath stopping narrow roads. Once you reach the rock, you can see jaw-dropping gorges on both the sides of it that will surely give you an adrenalin thrill.

HIDDEN VALLEY- The Hidden Valley, nestled in the beautiful hills of Coonoor, is splashed with a lush, green landscape and with the enchanting mountain-views at the backdrop, every footstep seems a marvel. Since the valley is not totally accessible, hence a trek is necessary to savour its beauty.

CATHERINE'S FALLS- St. Catherine Falls is situated around the sphere surrounding of Coonoor. It is located at a height of 250 feet and has a special place in the heart of the visitors. The name of the Catherine Falls is perceived to be baptized after the wife of M.D. Cockburn. The pretty lady was believed to have spread the coffee plantation to Kotagiri region.

DROOG FORT- Droog Fort served Tipu Sultan as his outpost in the 18th century. at a distance of about 15 kilometres from Coonoor town the fort is based at an elevation of 600 feet from sea level, tourists need to trek their way through the tea gardens to make it to the famous tourist attraction.

ST. GEORGE CHURCH- The church is a work-of-art in the history of Coonoor. The church is the unique example of an archetypal Cantonment Church. It was established by Colonel J.T.Boileau in 1826. A number of travelers from across the world come here to see the beauty of this magnificent church.

In the evening continue your drive to the beautiful hill station Ooty. Transfer to hotel.

DAY 7: OOTY

After breakfast at hotel, visit the Queen of the Blue Mountains- Ooty. 

BOTANICAL GARDEN- The garden is very popular with nature lovers and those who long to walk among greenery and see rare ferns and shrubs up close. It is located at the slopes of the Doddabetta peak. The terraced garden is maintained by the Tamil Nadu horticultural society and covers an area of 22 hectares. 

OOTY LAKE- Covering an area of around 65 acres, the Ooty Lake is a manmade lake formed in 1824 under the British. It features a boathouse which offers boating facilities to the visitors and is famous for for boating on the lake or enjoy their favorite outdoor activity of fishing.

DODDABETTA PARK- It is the highest point in the district, making it possibly the best vantage point around Ooty. The picturesque Nilgiris and the amazing views this place has to offer. This place offers amazing trek spots and plenty of quiet and picturesque locations to solitary wanderers like me.

LAMB'S ROCK- another vantage point that is ideal for taking pictures and is a wonderful picnic spot.

PYKARA RIVER- Known as a sacred place for the Toda people, Pykara River flows through the plateau and form several cascades and waterfalls. The Pykara falls are one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ooty and are famous for the shola trees, Toda settlements and wildlife.

DAY 8: OOTY - WAYANAD

Today drive to Wayanad- "Land of Paddy Fields". Transfer to hotel.

In the afternoon enjoy the mystic quality of awe inspiring mountain views and the plantations where tea, coffee, rubber, pepper and cardamom gently coexist with the rich diversity of tranquil sub-tropical forests. With a cool climate and lush greenery Wayanad enjoys a pleasant climate the whole year.

DAY 9: WAYANAD

After breakfast spend the whole day enjoying Bird Watching, Boating and rickshaw rides at the sanctuary. 

BANASURA SAGAR DAM- The dame is considered to be the largest earth dam in India and the second largest in Asia. Positioned at a distance of around 21 km away from Kalpetta, this dam is made up of boulders and huge stacks of stones. 

CHEMBRA PEAK- Highest peak in the Wayanad region of Kerala, Chembra Peak stands at an altitude of 2100 meters above sea level. The peak is close to the town of Meppady, which makes the hill easily accessible on foot. Being nestled amidst the beautiful Wayanad hills and the adjoining Nilgiri hills, trek to the peak is a certainly a rejuvenating affair.

EDAKKAL CAVES- The caves is the treasured site of Neolithic and Mesolithic rock inscriptions located in Ambukuthy Mala in the Wayanad district of Kerala. Located at 1200 meters above sea level, the caves are covered in lush environs of the hills. Edakkal is one of the earliest centres of human habitation.

WAYANAD WILDLIFE SANCTUARY- Made up of 2 broken patches- Tholpetty and Muthanga, the sanctuary covers an area of 344.44 sq km. The rugged wild charm attracts a crazy number of travelers from all around. This wildlife reserve is also close to Nagarhole Range of Karnataka and Kurichiat Ranges within Kerala.

POOKODE LAKE- This is a lovely freshwater lake that is around 15 km from the Kalpetta town. The scenic beauty and the peaceful environment are real charmers. The lush surrounding of the lake is popular amid nature lovers and photographers. The lake is the originating point the Panamaram stream, one of the main tributaries of River Kabini.

MEENMUTTY FALLS- Situated close to Neelimala, the spectacular Meenmutty Falls can be reached through a 2 km trekking route from the main road connecting Ooty and Wayanad. It is the largest of waterfalls in the district of Wayanad with its three stage falls dropping from about 300 metres.

DAY 10: WAYANAD - COORG

Today drive to the beautiful hill station Coorg (Kodagu). Transfer to hotel. Evening free to enjoy the wonders of nature in Coorg.

DAY 11: COORG

After breakfast, full day city tour of Coorg

RAJA SEAT- Raja's Seat in the town of Madikeri is where the kings would sit and watch the sunsets with their consorts. This is considered one of South India's most scenic locations. The view from Raja's Seat is breathtaking as you gaze upon the green valleys and towering hills.

OMKARESHWARA TEMPLE- The temple was established in 1820 by Lingarajendra II with Mumammadan style architecture, which featured a center dome and four corners with turrets. It is dedicated to Lord Siva You will find minarets of Dodaveearaja and Lingaraja with Nandi Bull on the top of minarets. The carvings on it include many manifestations of Lord Shiva.

ABBI FALLS- Coorg's most popular waterfall is a 5 km drive from the main town.

BYLE KUPPE- It is one of the largest Tibetan settlements in south India. It has several monasteries and the prominent among these are the Great Gompa of Sera Je and Sera Mey and the Namdroling monastery. The gold-coated Buddhist statues in the monastery are imposing and unique, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Tibetans.

KAKKABE- The town is the largest producer of honey in South East Asia.

DAY 12: COORG - BENGALURU

Day free for leisure and later, drive back to Bengaluru to catch your flights/train towards onward destination.
