HARIDWAR- Haridwar is one of the seven holy cities of the Hindus that are also known as Moksapuri or Sapta-Puri. Literally means the gateway to Hari, an epithet for Vishnu, the Creator in the Hindu Trinity of Creator-Preserver-Destroyer. It is also called Gangadwara, because it is near Haridwar that the Ganga, the most sacred river of the Hindus, enters the Great Plains. 

RISHIKESH- It is a peaceful town and is also one of the holiest towns of India. There is a mystical air about the place. A famous centre for yoga (mystical and spiritual training) and meditation, the town is dotted with numerous ashrams which offer yoga and meditation courses.

SHIMLA- Popularly called the “Queen of Hill Stations”. Once the summer capital of the British in 1864 AD. Presently also it is the capital city of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla is a perfect heaven for those in search of tranquility. Nature has blessed this capital city with innumerable gifts and man has used them to make Shimla one of India's best destinations.

MANALI- Popularly called the “Switzerland of India” is a small hill town in the valley of Kullu. Manali is extremely popular with tourists for its lavish display of un spoilt natural beauty. Manali is mainly popular for the adventure sports like trekking, mountaineering, hiking, skiing, paragliding, kayaking and mountain biking. It is an excellent place for a holiday.

DHARAMSHALA- Situated in the picturesque Kangra valley and set against the Dhauladhar mountain range in Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala is an ideal retreat for nature lovers. The pristine environment with dense green cover consisting of Deodar and Pine trees provides a visual treat. Dharamshala is also the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh.

MANDAWA- Mandawa is a small town in the heart of Shekhawati region. The place is known not only for its havelis but also for its Fort Palace. The structure of the palace reminds of the cultural and social importance of this region in the past. Of the havelis, the most important are the Chokhani, Ladia, Binsidhar Newatia, and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. 

BIKANER- Located in the north western part of the state, Bikaner has a rich historical tradition and thousands of tourists from all over the year come here to get a feel of the rich tradition and culture. Bikaner attracts thousands of travelers for its rich historical tradition and culture. The city consists of beautiful forts, castles, religious shrines and other historical monuments.

JAISALMER- Popularly known as the “Desert City of Rajasthan”, and is a paradise of the desert kingdom. It sets a image of deserted land with camel swiftly moving on the golden sands. The city is almost enticing and for domestic travelers as it is to foreign tourists. Standing in pride with its colossal forts, palaces and havelis, Jaisalmer showcases the artistic sense of the Rajput kings.

JODHPUR- Popularly called the “Blue City of Rajasthan”; Jodhpur is second largest city in Rajasthan after Jaipur. It is an island of marble palaces from the desert by an immense wall, with eight gates facing different directions. Jodhpur is famous for its magnificent fort and palaces. The city is situated at the edge of the Thar Desert with Jaisalmer on its west, Bikaner on its north side.

UDAIPUR- One of the most beautiful cities of Rajasthan, located on the banks of Lake Pichola, also known as a 'Jewel of Mewar'. The most romantic city of India can take the tourist into paroxysm of heaven. The center of attraction vibrates around the shimmering blue waters and the royal white marble palaces constructed with unique artistic insight.

PUSHKAR- Located 11km from Ajmer, according to Hindu mythology the town is the creation of Lord Brahma - the Creator of the Universe. A temple dedicated to Brahma has been built here.

Pushkar also hosts one of the most colorful cattle fairs in the country. A very important pilgrimage spot for Hindus, Pushkar is famous for its lake.

JAIPUR- Jaipur is remarkable for its marvelous architecture and town planning as it is for the lively spirit of the people who inhabit it. The city presents a unique synthesis of culture that has to be experienced in order to be appreciated. The old Jaipur painted in Pink, the lively spirit of fanfare, festivity and celebration of the people adequately match the colorful and intricately carved monuments. 

AGRA- The Land of culture and heritage. Agra is the city of the inimitable Taj Mahal. Agra is famous for its marble inlay work, leather goods, brasswares, finely worked precious and semi-precious stone jewellery and ornate zari embroidery.

FATEHPUR SIKRI- Once the capital of the Mughal emperor Akbar, a deserted, red sandstone city built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar in the 16th century. It is built in red sandstone, and is a beautiful blend of Hindu and Islamic architectural elements. 

ORCHHA- The meaning of the place, Orchha is ‘a hidden place’ and it perfectly justifies this small village hidden by the forests. Its grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time a rich legacy to the ages. It is a major tourist attraction of Madhya Pradesh because of the number of beautifully built palaces, temples and cenotaphs built in the 16th and 17th centuries reflecting the rich Bundela art and architecture.

KHAJURAHO- It is a city well known for its temples and sculptures. The exuberance of Indian spirit represents a paean to life, love, to joy-perfect in execution and sublime in expression. The Khajuraho temples are internationally famous for the erotic sculptures that adorn the walls. 

VARANASI- It is one of the oldest living cities in the world. It probably derives from the two rivers that flank the city, the Varuna to the north and the Asi to the south. Many still use the anglicized forms of Banaras or Benares, while pilgrims refer to Kashi. The city of Banaras is situated on the west bank of the holiest of all Indian rivers, the Ganga or Ganges. The relationship between the sacred river and the city is the essence of Varanasi - 'the land of sacred light'.

MUMBAI- Mumbai is the capital city of Maharashtra and is the financial powerhouse of the country. Also well known commercial capital of India, fast paced cosmopolitan city. This historic city, extends along the sea, has grand buildings and is the center of India's Hindi film industry. The city is famous as the center of glamour and glitz due to the presence of Indian film industry. Mumbai is also a historical city having many attractions to offer to a visitor.

GOA- A Tourist Paradise, Goa has magnificent scenic beauty and the architectural splendors of temples, churches and old houses. Popularly called as “The Pearl of the Orient” has much more than just beaches and seas. The natural landscapes, the waterfalls, the forests, the spice farms, all are unique in their own way that truly shows an entirely new side of Goa. Goa is the perfect place where you will find a blend of traditional and modern aspects of life.

BENGALURU- Bengaluru, the Garden City of India is also the capital of Karnataka. The city ranks as one of the fastest growing cities in Asia. Its pleasant climate, friendly people and its highly educated population have made this Silicon Valley of India. Almost all computer related multinationals are setting up their Indian head office at Bengaluru. This garden city of India has many gardens and boulevards. There are number of places of tourist interest in and around Bengaluru.

MYSORE- Mysore is a pleasant city with a old world charm, contributed by its broad shady avenues, well laid out gardens, fine buildings and a salubrious climate. Mysore city is 140kms away from Bengaluru is a city of palaces, gardens, shady avenues and sacred temples and retains some of the charm of the old world with its many institutions that propagate Carnatic Classical music and dance. 

OOTY- Ooty, the capital of Nilgiris district and the Queen of hill stations nestled in the beautiful Nilgiris Mountains is the land of picturesque picnic spots. It was a popular summer gateway of Britishers during the colonial days due to its high altitude (2240 meters above sea level). The travelers are greeted by the dense forest, sprawling grasslands, lofty mountains and numerous tea gardens on most of the routes. and shop for souvenirs at the popular local markets.

KODAIKANAL- The charming hill station of Kodaikanal lies amid sylvan beauty in the southern part of the upper Palani Hills near Madurai in the state of Tamil Nadu. Perched at a height of about 2,133 meters, Kodaikanal - with its rocks, woods, lovely lake and refreshing environs - is an ideal hill resort for tourist and nature lovers.

MUNNAR- Munnar amidst beautiful landscapes often referred as the Kashmir of South India is more essentially a tea town. It is a commercial centre for tea and it has some of the highest grown tea estates in the world. It also takes the credit of having the world's best tea estates. 

KOCHI (COCHIN) - Kochi is the commercial capital and the most cosmopolitan city of Kerala, Kochi along with its mainland part, Ernakulum is also known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea. With one of the finest natural harbors in the world, Kochi is the most modern city of Kerala where the best shopping markets are located. 

PERIYAR- Periyar in the southernmost state of Kerala is one of the sixteen Project Tiger reserves in India, and one of the most picturesque and beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in the world. With its waterways, forests and grasslands, it provides a magnificent venue for both mammal and bird watching.

ALLEPPEY- Alappuzha Beach (Alleppey) also famous as ‘The Venice of the East', is blessed with the silvery waves of the Arabian Sea. This beach is the best backwater destinations in Kerala. Alappuzha is one of the most romantic and beautiful place with land between the sea and network of rivers falling into it into it. The Palm fringed canals, shores bustling with glimpses, the mirror still lagoons, picture book lakesides and its long sandy beach has blessed Alappuzha. The other God’s gift to Alappuzha is the dense palm groves which lines the shore. 

KUMARAKOM- Kumarakom is a cluster of islands on the Vemband Lake.  Apart from this Kumarakom is also of interests to the ornithologists for the backwater section boasts of a bird sanctuary and exhibits a rich flora and fauna and is marked as one of the important Aqua Tourism destination. The major attraction of Kumarakom is the local houseboats known as Kettuvalloms. Most of these Ayurvedic centers are attached to the resorts in a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere which contributes for rejuvenation and healing.

TRIVANDRUM- Trivandrum now called Thiruvananthapuram is an ancient seaside city built on seven hills. It is one of the major business centre and busiest harbor in the country. Capital of God’s Own Land, Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram is one of the most beautiful and greenest cities of India. The city features long stretches of serene backwaters, beautiful palm fringed beaches, historic monuments and revered shrines.

DAY 1: DELHI:- Arrive in Delhi and later transfer to the hotel.  After breakfast, full day city tour of New Delhi

INDIA GATE- Built as a memorial to commemorate the 70,000 India soldiers killed in World War I, India Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and completed in 1931. The green, velvety lawns at India Gate, particularly, are a popular evening and holiday rendezvous for young and old alike.

PRESIDENT’S HOUSE- New Delhi, centers around the Rashtrapati Bhawan. It is architecturally a very impressive building standing at a height, flowing down as it were to India Gate. HUMAYUN’S TOMB- The emperor’s grieving widow, Haji Begum, built Humayun’s Tomb the first mature example of Mughal architecture in India, in 1565 AD.

LAXMI NARAYAN TEMPLE- Also called the Birla Mandir it was built in 1938; the temple is an ideal introduction to some of the gods of the India pantheon. 

LOTUS TEMPLE- The Bahai’s Temple, is shaped like a lotus. It is an eye-catching edifice worth exploring. Built by the Bahai’s community, it offers the visitor a serenity that pervades the temple and its artistic design. 

QUTAB MINAR- It is among the tallest and famous towers in the world. Qutab Minar is famed as the highest brick minaret of the world, located amidst the lush greens of South Delhi.

DAY 2: DELHI – HARIDWAR:- After breakfast at hotel, visit Old Delhi 

RED FORT- This is a magnificent fort with beautiful artwork of red sandstone on the banks of river Yamuna. It is a huge complex of gardens and pavilions and marble palaces.

JAMA MASJID- This is the largest mosque in India, located opposite to the Red Fort, it was again the great Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan behind this architectural masterpiece.

RAJ GHAT- Built on the banks of the legendary Yamuna, which flows past New Delhi, Raj Ghat-the last resting place of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. Later, drive to the City of Ganges-Haridwar. In the evening go to Har ki Pauri to attend the evening aarti at River Ganges.

DAY 3: HARIDWAR – RISHIKESH:- After breakfast visit Haridwar viewing

HAR KI PAURI- A major landmark and famous ghat on the banks of River Ganga. It is believed to be a place of exit of holy river Ganga from the mountains.

MANSA DEVI TEMPLE- One of the most revered temple of Goddess Mansa Devi. The temple is a famous Siddhpeeth and offers panoramic views of the city.

SAPTRISHI ASHRAM- This is an old beautiful ashram built on banks of river Ganga. Later in afternoon drive to Rishikesh. Visit Rishikesh viewing.

BHARAT MANDIR- The temple is situated in the heart of the township of Rishikesh. Said to be the oldest temple in Rishikesh, it is also regarded as one of the most ancient shrines in India.

LAXMAN JHULA- Lakshman Jhula, the famous hanging bridge across Ganga, is about 3 km from the main township of Rishikesh. As per mythological tales, once Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama, crossed river Ganga at the same site where the bridge now stands.

PARMARTH ASHRAM- Founded in 1942 by Pujya Swami Shukdevanand Ji Maharaj, Parmarth Niketan is an ashram located in Rishikesh. It’s the largest ashram in Rishikesh with over a thousand rooms. Parmarth Niketan provides its thousands of pilgrims a clean, pure and sacred atmosphere as well as abundant, beautiful gardens.

DAY 4: RISHIKESH - SHIMLA:- After early breakfast, drive to the Queen of Hill Stations-Shimla. Later you can visit the MALL ROAD, which is the main shopping center of Shimla. It is considered as the heart of the town. A vast variety of goods, handicrafts, wools and shawls, pullovers, Tibetan carpets, pickles, and squashes are here to offer. Shimla is considered the best market for handicrafts.

DAY 5: SHIMLA:- After breakfast at the hotel, visit the beautiful locations of Shimla.

CHRIST CHURCH- the second oldest church in Northern India, with a very majestic appearance and inside there is a stained glass window, which represent faith, hope, charity, fortitude, patience and humility.

JAKHU HILL- the highest peak and offers a beautiful view of the town and of the snow-covered Himalayas.

KUFRI- 16 kms. from Shimla and the winter sports capital. During winter, visitors have the facility for skiing. Kufri is a lovely picnic spot with a beautiful view of the hills around and the snowy peaks. There is also a zoo that delights children.

FAGU HILL- Situated on Hindustan-Tibet Road and is gifted with some enchanting views.

DAY 6: SHIMLA - MANALI:- After breakfast, drive to Manali. In the evening you can visit the MALL ROAD, which is the main shopping center of Manali. A vast variety of goods, handicrafts, wools and shawls, pullovers, and Tibetan carpet.

DAY 7: MANALI:- After breakfast, visit the Switzerland of India-Manali.

ROHTANG PASS-The highest point, 4,112m, on the Manali-Keylong road, 51-km from Manali town. Surrounded by soaring snow-capped mountains, it provides a wide panoramic view of mountains rising far above clouds, which is a sight truly breath-taking. Owing to its picturesque surroundings, this pass serves as an ideal picnic spot for tourists and people from nearby areas. 

SOLANG VALLEY- It offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks. It has fine ski slopes.

DAY 8: MANALI:- Explore more places today, like

HADIMBA TEMPLE-Hadimba or Dhungiri temple in Manali is one of the most important temples in the region. It is an ancient shrine that lies a few kilometres away from the main market of Old Manali. This temple is dedicated to Lord Manu, who is considered to the creator of human race on the earth as per the Hindu mythology.

VASHIST HOT & SULPHUR SPRINGS- Renowned for its hot springs and temples. Vashisht is a tiny village that lies towards the Rohtang Pass on the left bank of the Beas River. This place is famous for its ancient temples and hot springs. The popular hot sulphur natural springs at this place receive a lot of visitors year round as it is believed these waters can cure skin diseases.   

KOTHI- a picturesque spot and an ideal resting resorts of poets, writers and the lovers of peaceful environs. Spend your time together; enjoy the snow and other adventurous games.

DAY 9: MANALI - DHARAMSHALA:- After breakfast, drive to Dharamshala, enroute visiting Baijnath for the famous Lord Shiva’s Temple and Palampur for the famous tea garden. Later transfer to the hotel. Evening go out for shopping.

DAY 10: DHARAMSHALA:- Today visit the city viewing

ST. JOHNS CHURCH- The charming dressed- stone church of St. John in the wildness. 

MCLEODGANJ- Often called the' Little Lhasa' at 1770 m; this is the residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. The large Tibetan community and the presence of traditional architectural designs drawn from Tibet have enhanced the area. 

BHAGSUNATH- Close to fresh water springs; this ancient temple is 11 km from Dharamshala. It is a popular picnic spot and the famous slate quarries are close by. Also visit Dharmkot, Triund, Andretta and many more.

DAY 11: DHARAMSHALA - CHANDIGARH:- Today drive to Chandigarh, enroute visit the very famous Pinjore Garden

PINJORE GARDEN: Spread over a massive area of 100 acres and also known as Yadvinder Garden, Pinjore Garden is a spectacle to behold. Later transfer to the hotel. Evening go out for shopping.

DAY 12: CHANDIGARH – DELHI:- After breakfast, visit

SUKHNA LAKE: Nestled at the foothills of Shivaliks, Sukhna Lake is a beautiful lake set amid the picturesque surroundings. Quite popular amid the locals and visitors, the place is a perfect destination for solitude seekers.

ROSE GARDEN: Rose garden, located at 16 sector of Chandigarh is a place to relax amid the nature at its best. The garden is packed with some exquisite variety of flowers making it quite popular among tourists and nature enthusiasts.

ROCK GARDEN: A symbol of imagination and novelty, this one is of its kind of garden spread across an area of 64 acres. The Rock Garden has been designed as an open air exhibition hall using urban and industrial wastes by Nek Chand, a former Road Inspector in Chandigarh. Later in the evening drive back to Delhi.

DAY 13: DELHI - MANDAWA:- Next morning drive towards a small town in the heart of Shekhawati Region- Mandawa. Transfer to hotel. In the evening visit 

HAVELIS- The most important are the Chokhani, Ladia, Binsidhar Newatia known for its curious paintings, and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli famous for erotic images now mostly defaced.

FORT PALACE- The structure of the palace reminds of the cultural and social importance of this region in the past.

DAY 14: MANDAWA - BIKANER:- Next morning drive to the imposing walled city of Bikaner; transfer to hotel and after lunch visit Bikaner.

JUNAGARH FORT- The fort is lavishly carved with stone corridors, pavilions, stunning royal quarters, minarets, archways and ornamented courtyards. Raja Rai Singh, a general in Emperor Akbar's army built the Junagarh Fort. 

LALGARH PALACE- The spectacular Palace is an outstanding architectural marvel that enchants you with a magical fusion Rajputana, European and Mughal building styles. Stone crafted pillars, Italian colonnades, spacious lounges, regal halls and profusely carved fire places at the imposing Lalgarh Palace in Bikaner transport you back in time to an incomparably lavish royal era. 

GAJNER PALACE- This red sandstone Palace lies ensconced in the midst of wooded grounds and is a delightful palatial home that has been converted into a heritage hotel. Delicately carved columns, sculpted pillars and Jharokha windows add to the quiet class of this heritage palace in Bikaner, Rajasthan. Set on the banks of a serene lake the Gajner Palace is a glittering jewel on the Bikaner crown. 

SHIV BARI TEMPLE- Constructed by Maharaja Doongar Singhji, the Shiv Bari Temple India is a virtual museum of miniature paintings that are delicate yet colorful representations of ethnic Bikaner traditions and patterns.

CAMEL BREEDING FARM- Popularly referred to as the Government Camel Breeding Farm, the National Research Center on Camel breeds the best camels in Bikaner and conducts research work related to "the ship of the desert."

DAY 15: BIKANER - JAISALMER:- Today continue your drive to the desert town of Jaisalmer. Transfer to hotel and in the evening visit

SAM SAND DUNES- Sam Sand dunes are the major attractions of Jaislamer. It is 3 kms long and 1 km wide and is half a kilometer high. The Sam sand dunes are unreliable and they are picturesque. Sam Sand dunes are just the place to surf the golden sands of Rajasthan through a safari.

DAY 16: JAISALMER:- Take on a full day city tour of Jaisalmer.

JAISALMER FORT- This fort is the second oldest fort of Rajasthan. A sight to behold, this living fort is one of the marvels of Rajasthani Architecture, especially of the stone carver's art.

HAVELIES- Evoking a vision of chivalry and valor, wealthy merchants built these havelies. Famous for their intricately- carved facades, the workmanship of Jaisalmer's Havelies present a beautiful amalgam of Rajput architecture and Islamic art. Some of the famous havelies of Jaisalmer are Salim-Singh-ki-Haveli, Patwon-ki-Haveli, and Nathmal-ki-Haveli.

GADISSAR LAKE- The origin of this artificial water tank dates back to 1156 AD. Surrounded by small temples and shrines, it also gives a view of the exquisite archway, Teelon ki Pol - one of the main entrances to the lake and the city.

DAY 17: JAISALMER - JODHPUR:- Next morning drive to the Blue City of Rajasthan- Jodhpur. Transfer to hotel and after lunch visit Jodhpur.

UMAID BHAWAN PALACE- Maharaja Umaid Singh, a perfect example of early modern period architecture, constructed Umaid Bhawan Palace. Umaid Bhawan palace forms the grandest private royal houses of the world. Some portion of this grand palace has been converted into a luxurious hotel and a museum. 

JASWANT THADA- It lies quite close to the Mehrangarh Fort complex. It was built in 1899 AD in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and houses the cenotaphs of a number of Rajput royals. The main cenotaph has rare portraits of many Rajput rulers on display. 

ARCHITECTURAL SPLENDOR OF JODHPUR- Given the rough terrain it is not surprising that the architecture of the city was influenced by it. Desert architecture is noted for two distinct traits, the need to guard against the heat and to fortify itself against invasions. THE MEHRANGARH FORT- Fort at Jodhpur is such that the fort walls and the sheer basalt escarpment are not distinguishable, one from the other. Huge gates at the entrance are fitted with iron nails to prevent elephants from bringing them down. The palaces and the mansions within the complex are more delicately designed. The chief palaces you can see in the fort are the Phool Mahal, the Moti Mahal, the Jhanki Mahal, the Sheesh Mahal and the Sadar Vilas.

DAY 18: JODHPUR –RANAKPUR – UDAIPUR:- Next morning drive towards Udaipur. Enroute visit Ranakpur.

DAY 19: UDAIPUR:- Take on a full day city tour of The City of Lakes- Udaipur.

LAKE PICHOLA- This lake presents the picturesque beauty of Udaipur. Encircled by numerous palaces on all sides, it houses various islands where the famous Jag Mandir and Jag Niwas are situated. Maharaja Jagat Singh II built Lake Palace- the palace. It is situated on Lake Pichola, and it appears to be floating on the lake.

HAWA MAHAL- One of the most common and popular tourist attractions in Jaipur. This five-storey building was used as a veil by the royal women folk to watch the proceedings on the road below. 

CITY PALACE- In the heart of the old city is former royal residence built in a blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles. The palace also has an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit, acquired by Sawai Jai Singh II to study astronomy in detail.

JANTAR MANTAR- A stone observatory, largest of Jai Singh’s five remarkable observatories. The observatory was built to study the movement of stars. The observatory is built in stone and marble. 

AMER PALACE- A beautiful complex of palaces, halls, pavilions, gardens and temples built by Raja Man Singh. Tourists often ride on the elephant back to the Singh pool and the Jaleb Chowk. AGRA FORT- Built in red sandstone, this huge fortress on the bank of the Yamuna. The fort house has many beautiful palaces and mansions, which include Jahangiri Mahal, Khass Mahal, Diwan-i-Khass and Diwan-i-Aam.

ITMAD-UD-DAULA TOMB- Also known as Baby Taj, this tomb is a daughter's tribute to her father. Built in 1628 by Nurjahan in memory of her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg.

SIKANDRA FORT- It is 4 kms from Agra where Akbar built his mausoleum.

DAY 29: VARANASI – MUMBAI (By Flight):- After breakfast visit, 

Early morning boat cruise at the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats. The Ganga Ghats are the main centre of religious activities and rituals and also form one of the main attractions of Varanasi. The Alamgir Mosque, blend of Hindu and Mughal styles of architecture, is another important attraction of Varanasi. 

Some of the important temples are Durga Temple, Vishwanath Temple, SankatMochan Temple, TlsiManas Temple and The Bharat Mata Temple. Other attractions of Varanasi are the Benaras Hindu Universality, the Archeological Museuwm and Buddhist Stupas.

ELEPHANTA CAVES- located on an island about 10 kilometers away from the shores of Mumbai. These caves comprise of temples carved from solid rock dating back to the 7th century. The main attraction is the three-headed bust of Lord Shiva, famously known as ‘Trimurti’.

GATEWAY OF INDIA- The Gateway of India was built during the British Raj in Mumbai. Located on the waterfront in the Apollo Bunder area in South Mumbai, the monument is companioned by the Arabian Sea.

PRINCE OF WALES MUSEUM- The Museum of Western India is the main museum in Mumbai.  The museum is located in the heart of South Mumbai near the Gateway of India. The museum building is built in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture, incorporating elements of other styles of architecture like the Mughal, Maratha, Jain, etc and the museum building is surrounded by a garden of palm trees and formal flower beds.

TARAPOREWALA AQUARIUM- Taraporewala Aquarium on Marine Drive has a good collection of sea and fresh water fish and other marine life.

CHOWPATTY BEACH & MARINE DRIVE- It is one of the most famous public beaches in Mumbai. The beach is famous for Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Marine Drive is a 3-kilometre-long boulevard in South Mumbai. It is a 'C'-shaped six-lane concrete road along the coast, which is a natural bay and links Nariman Point to Babulnath and Malabar Hill.

KAMLA NEHRU PARK- The park covers an area of 4,000 square feet. Located atop of Mumbai's Malabar Hill, it is named after Kamala Nehru, the wife of India's first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru.

HANGING GARDEN- These Gardens are terraced gardens perched at the top of Malabar Hill, on its western side, just opposite the Kamala Nehru Park.

HAJI ALI DARGAH- The Dargah is located on an islet off the coast of Worli in the Southern Mumbai. Near the heart of the city proper, the dargah is one of the most recognisable landmarks of city. An exquisite example of Indian Islamic architecture, the dargah contains the tomb of Sayed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari.

SIDDHIVINAYAK TEMPLE- The temple is devoted to Ganesh, the elephant headed God for Good Fortune. 

ISKCON TEMPLE- Hare Krishna Land is set upon four acres of prime land and a stone throw away from Juhu beach, Mumbai. Founder of ISKCON inspired the construction of one of India’s most beautiful temple of Lord Krishna in Mumbai.

JUHU BEACH- Juhu Beach is one of the most famous beaches in Mumbai. The beach is famous for its Mumbai street food, notably bhelpuri, pani puri, and pav bhaji. Juhu beach is also a very popular place for watching aircraft as planes from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.

VIDHAN SABHA- It was built by K.Hanumantaiah which is a granite structure built in Neo Dravidian style of architecture and is one of India's most magnificent buildings. Presently, the building houses the state Secretariat, Legislature and other state Government offices. 

LAL BAGH- The garden was laid during18th century by Hyder Ali and Tipu Sultan. The Bi-annual flower show at Lal bagh brings in entrants as well as visitor's from all over the world. It has also a magnificent Glass house built in 1840 on the lines of London's Crystal Palace.

TIPU’S PALACE- It is located in the heart of the city and adjustent to fort Venkateshwara temple. Supposed to be built by Tipu Sultan. Attracts people from all over the world. This palace is purely a wooden structure.

BULL TEMPLE- Built by Kempe Gowda in a typical Dravidian style. It has mammoth, monolithic Bull 15 feet high and 20 feet long. There is a mystery related to this temple, even to this day people every year. 

CUBBON PARK- It was planned in 1864 by Sir Richard Sankey, the then chief Engineer of Mysore. In the Cubbon Park there is Attara kacheri, The Central Library, The Aquarium, The Jawahar Bal Bhavan with its Mini Theater and Toy train, The Musuem. Other places to visit are Venkatappa Art Gallery, The Bangalore Palace, Ulsoor Lake, Chinaswamy Stadium.

RANGANATHA SWAMY TEMPLE- The temple in Srirangapatna enshrines Lord Vishnu as Ranganatha. It is said that the Ganaga chieftain, Tirumalaiya built this temple in 894 AD. The architecture of the temple is a mixture of the Hoysala and Vijayanagar styles. The temple has fort like walls and an intricately carved Gopura in Vijayanagar style of architecture.

SRIANGAPATNANAM- The place is nestled in the banks of river Cauvery is about 3 Kms. in length and one Km. in breadth. For a short while the city of Srirangapatna was the capital of the Mysore state, while Tipu Sultan was ruling Mysore. After the death of Tipu Sultan in 1799 the British shifted the capital back to Mysore. The town, temples, mosque and other historical monuments are surrounded by a strong stone fort with four gates.

The terraced garden is maintained by the Tamil Nadu horticultural society and covers an area of 22 hectares. 

OOTY LAKE- Covering an area of around 65 acres, the Ooty Lake is a manmade lake formed in 1824 under the British. It features a boathouse which offers boating facilities to the visitors and is famous for for boating on the lake or enjoy their favorite outdoor activity of fishing.

DODDABETTA PARK- It is the highest point in the district, making it possibly the best vantage point around Ooty. The picturesque Nilgiris and the amazing views this place has to offer. This place offers amazing trek spots and plenty of quiet and picturesque locations to solitary wanderers like me.

PYKARA RIVER- Known as a sacred place for the Toda people, Pykara River flows through the plateau and form several cascades and waterfalls. The Pykara falls are one of the most popular tourist attractions in Ooty and are famous for the shola trees, Toda settlements and wildlife.

COAKERS WALK- Coakers walk is an one killometer long built on the mountain. It was constructed in 1872, by Lt Coaker. The outlook of the path defines the beauty of the nature I.e Mountains, valleys, cities etc. Telescope house is must watch of the coakers walk. People are allowed to ride bicycles.

PILLAR ROCKS- The famous Pillars Rocks of Kodaikanal are located around 8 km from the lake and are an exquisite picnic spot. Constituting of a beautiful mini garden, the place is so named as it has three vertically positioned boulders reaching up to a height of 400 feet.

BEAR SHOLA FALLS- Bear Shola Falls that lies in close proximity to Kodaikanal is an exemplary picnic spot. Earlier, many bears used to drink water from this fall, hence the name Bear Shola Falls.

GUNA CAVE- Guna Cave is wonderful tourist spot in Kodaikanal on Moir Point road. The cave is formed between two large Pillar Rocks.This large, dark and ancient cae is also called as Devil's Kitchen.

TEA PLANTATIONS- A vast expanse of tea plantations, winding roads, passionate climate and royal gardens make this hill station, Munnar, the Darjeeling of the south.

ATUKKAD WATERFALLS- Located on the way to Pallivasal amidst dense vegetation; the Atukkad Waterfalls is one of the major tourist attractions in Munnar. The water is cold and is also known as a great trekking hotspot in Munnar.

MATTUPETTI DAM- The dam is situated 13 km off Munnar at 1700m above the sea level, is highly famous for the Indo-Swiss live stock projects. This picnic spot is also popular among its visitors for various activities like speed boating and horse riding.

ECHO POINT- A very beautiful place to visit when in Munnar, which is itself situated at the confluence of three mountain streams- Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala and hence is a very scenic place to visit, Echo Point got its name from the natural echo phenomenon that occurs here. Echo Point is situated at a serene, calm lake bank. 

ERAVIKULAM NATIONAL PARK- The protected forest is located at an average elevation of 2000 meters above sea level and is home to several endemic and rare species of flora, fauna, reptiles and avifauna totaling at a whopping 750 species. The Eravikulam National Park is a home to rare and endangered species like Tiger, Leopard, Nilgiri Tahr, Gaur, Indian Muntjac and Sambar Deer, Golden Jackal, Jungle Cat, Wild dog and Dhole.

CHINESE FISHING NETS, FORT KOCHI- The Chinese fishing nets (Cheenavala) are distinctly unique to Cochin. It is believed that traders from the court of the Chinese ruler Kublai Khan introduced these nets here. Oddly, these nets are found only in Kochi, outside China! Many fishermen earn their livelihood by fishing using these massive nets. A whole stretch of the coast along Fort Kochi and Vypeen are dotted with these nets.

FORT KOCHI BEACH- A stroll along the beach, particularly at sunset with the Chinese fishing nets and sailing ships in the background, is a memorable experience. Many European style bungalows can be seen along the shoreline. The coastal stretch has loads of small stalls, which make on demand mouth-watering traditional cuisines using freshly caught fish.

ST. FRANCIS CHURCH- It is the oldest church built by Europeans in India. On his 3rd visit to Kerala, Vasco da Gama, the Portuguese trader who reached India from Europe by sea, fell ill and died in Kochi. He was buried in the St. Francis Church. Later his remains were taken back to Portugal. 

DUTCH PALACE- The Palace was originally built by the Portuguese. Later, in 17th century, the Dutch modified it and presented it to the Raja of Kochi. The palace has a fine collection of mural paintings depicting scenes from the Hindu epics Mahabharata and Ramayana. 

JEWISH SYNAGOGUE- The synagogue, built in 1568, is magnificently decorated by Chinese tiles and Belgian chandeliers. Giant scrolls of the Old Testament can be found here. It is located near the Dutch Palace in Mattancherry.

BOLGHATTY PALACE- This Dutch palace is situated on Bolghatty Island which is just a short boat ride away from the mainland. The island has a tiny golf course and the panoramic views of the port and the harbor, makes it an attractive picnic spot.. 

MARINE DRIVE- A stroll along the long tree-lined coastal pathway that lines the backwater is well worth the time spent, especially late afternoon or dusk. The bustling backwaters, dotted with fishing boats, speedboats, ships, tankers and passenger boats, can be observed from this walkway that lines the coast.

VEMBANAD LAKE- The Lake emits the hues of sapphire and emerald. The sight of emerald green coconut fringes flanked by the sapphire led backwaters is a treat for eyes. With 96 km length and 14 km width, Vembanad Lake is recognized as the longest lake in India and largest water reservoir in Kerala. 

KUMARAKOM BIRD SANCTUARY- Unique and diverse typography of Kumarakom is home to some of the peculiar variances of birds. This 14-acre bird sanctuary is sprawling on the eastern banks of the Vembanad Lake. As per the fact, the bird sanctuary was earlier a tree plantation. A vast variety of birds including endangered species like waterfowl, egret, heron, cormorant and Brahminy kite can be spotted here. A leisure walk through the lush green forest will show tourists the best of Kumarakom. A cruise along the Vembanad Lake is the best way to experience the sanctuary. In the evening you can sit back and relax.

DAY 49: KUMARAKOM - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:- After breakfast drive the capital city of God's own country Kerala- Thiruvananthapuram. Transfer to hotel. After freshen up visit

KOVALAM BEACH- Paradise of the South, Kovalam is famous for its beautiful beaches and tourist resorts and is located just 9 km south of Somatheeram. There are three beaches here- Light House Beach, Hawah Beach and Samudra Beach. One to the south is the Light House beach and is the most popular. 

THIRUVALLAM BACKWATERS- The meeting place of two rivers Killi and Karamana, Thiruvallam backwaters is a beautiful place and is very popular for canoe rides. A temple in honor of Lord Parashurama, believed to be the creator of Kerala, is at Thiruvallam which attracts devotees from far and wide.

DAY 50: THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:- After breakfast visit

PADMANABHASWAMY TEMPLE- A wealthy and popular temple of India, Padmanaswamy Temple with its brilliant Dravidian architecture is dedicated to Lord Padhmanabha (Vishnu). This is one amongst 180 Divya Desams in India which are holiest abodes of Lord Vishnu. 

PONMUDI HILLS- Ponmudi is an unspoiled hill-station in Thiruvananthapuram, having a thick carpet of forest rolling down to the foothills. And to add on more charm, tea gardens are located in the locale. The town is a treasure for nature-lovers and adventure enthusiasts who like to partake in activities like mountaineering, rock climbing and trekking. 

Later in the evening, travel back by car/flight/train towards onward destination.
