DAY 1: DIBRUGARH

Welcome at Dibrugarh Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Later visit Tea Gardens.

TEA GARDENS- There is innumerous tea gardens situated all along the road to Dibrugarh. The soothing shades of green and smiling faces of the women working in the tea gardens are sure worth watching.

Evening at leisure or you can go for a leisure walk around the place.

DAY 2: DIBRUGARH

After breakfast visit the Tea Capital of Assam- Dibrugarh

DEHING NAMTI SATRA- Located on the banks of Disang River in Sasoni Mouza. Dehing Namti Satra was found by Binandashyam Gohain who had a follower named Lachit Borphukan. The ruins that are seen on the banks of the Dehing River under Larua mouza in present Dibrugarh, was a very famous satra during the rule of the Ahom king Rajeswar Singha. During the famous Moamoria revolution, the satra received royal support from Rajeswar Singha and also from a number of other kings like Lakhi Singha and Gaurinath Singha.

BARBARUA MAIDAM- The maidam (ancient burial mound of royalty and aristocracy) consists of two ancient graveyards, said to be devoted to high ranked officials. There are two other in the area, devoted to dead soldiers.

RAIDONGIA DOL- Among all the monuments in Dibrugarh, the Raidongia Dol is one of the most famous one, located in Larua Mouza in Kalakhowa region, near Dihingia Barbarua road, the Raidongia Doll is of a height of about 45 ft, and is a magnificent structure.

LEKAI CHETIA MAIDAM- The Lekai Chetia Maidam is located near the Mankota road at Sessa and is presently known as Thaan, which means a religious institution. This big maidam has a site towards its north, which is known as Lekai. It is dedicated to Lekai Chetia, which is the name of an officer of the Ahom kingdom under Swragodeo Pratapsingha.

BAHIKHOWA MAIDAM- During the rule of Rajeswar Singha, Bahikhowa Dasarath Dowerah Borphukan was the Chief of the Army Staff of Ahoms or the Borphukan. This maidam is dedicated to him and is located in the Khowang Tea Estate, but is presently in ruins.

SARUMECHLOW & BORMECHOW MAIDAM- These two maidams are the graveyards of the two queens of King Sukhampha Khura, belonging to the Ahom regime - Bormechow and Sarumechlow. These are the graves of the royalty in that region. These are situated in the locality of Lengeri mouza in the Dibrugarh City.

Day free for leisure and later depart at airport/station to catch your flight/train towards onward destination.
