Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary is located in Gurgaon District in Haryana State; Sultanpur is located at 40 kms distance from Dhaula Kuan in Delhi and 15 km from Gurgaon on the Gurgaon - Farukh Nagar Road. This Bird Sanctuary, ideal for birding and bird watchers, is best visited in winters when a large number of migratory birds come here.

DAY 1: DELHI - SULTANPUR

Today, drive towards Sultanpur Bird Sanctuary- Situated 46 kms away from Delhi, bird sanctuary is a haven to a variety of domestic and migratory birds. Artificial mound, have turned into green glade. The marsh has been converted into a water body. And with the years, hundreds of species of migratory birds have winged to stay. Winter brings in birds from as far as Siberia. Flock of geese from Europe wings in too. The local birds flap in. The bird population includes darters, egrets, shoveellers, gadwell and geese dominate. Teals, kingfishers, lapwings, sandpipers demoiselle cranes and such like water birds nestle in. Over 100 species have been identified here.

Day free for leisure and later, drive back to Delhi to catch your flights towards onward destination.
